The Exchange Club Family Center, Inc. was established in Nashville in 1985. A satellite center opened in Murfreesboro in 1989. The inception of our agency was the result of the adoption of child abuse prevention as the national project of Exchange Clubs of America, a civic organization popular in the Middle Tennessee area. The Exchange Club Family Center is a licensed, private, non-profit child abuse prevention agency providing services for families and children who are living in abusive or potentially abusive situations, and for families needing parenting support. Since our inception we have grown from serving 35 families in our first year to over 10,000 individuals through direct service and prevention awareness.
